-I highly encourage you to fill out a survey at:

-Email me at: mykaiwa@gmail.com

-or comment here on this blog page.

Thank you all, I look forward to hearing from you:)

Installation at Berkeley Bart

This is my final site for library. My hope is that these libraries will remain in their original site, but I understand that they could be confiscated. I hope that this project will bless and build our community. I will be checking on each library periodically, and do my best to restock the books.

Installation at 12th street Bart

I was fortunate to have my friend Akasha drive Jasmine's car to help me transport the library structure and materials ( thank you so much!). The structure did not fit in the car, therefore we had to secure it above using yarn and scarfs, it was interesting. All went well, and I was glad to see people immediately engaging with the project.

First installation at MacArthur Bart

Today I restocked and updated the Rockridge Bart Library, and installed a library at MacArthur Bart. Some of the successes I had was being able to transport the library structure on Public Transportation. I was worried that Bart especially would not allow me to take a huge structure on the Bart, but everything went smoothly as far as navigating the materials there. At the Rockridge Bart I was happy to see several people engaging in the library and also share with me some positive feedback, along with their experience with the library. Today overall was a great test run to prepare me for the installation of the two other libraries. One of the disadvantages was forgetting the small posters with the name of the library on them, so I will be revisiting all the libraries to attach those. Im looking forward to installing the rest next week.
